Let us understand the mathematical functions, by taking an example of the SUM() function.
2 Click on the Formulas tab. 4 Select the SUM function.
3 Click on the Insert
Function option.
1 Select a cell to display
the sum of the numbers.
5 Click on the OK button.
6 Type the range of
cells to find the sum.
7 Click on the OK button.
The result will be displayed in the selected cell.
TEXT FUNCTIONS
These functions are used to manipulate and work with text, such as changing case, extracting
parts of text or combining text strings.
